The third Yoga Atlantic Conference is quickly approaching. We are ready! Are you? Come and celebrate Giving Back to Earth with your teachers and friends. Celebrate meeting up with old friends and make some new friends.  Celebrate our workshops and many more great experiences.

Satpal Kaur Sodhi will give the Keynote Address; Titled “Feel Yummy In Your Mind, Body and Soul. A Spiritual and Yogic Reframing of Pain and Suffering” This will begin our celebrations on Friday evening. A book signing will follow.

Then get ready for a wild and wonderful opening night Chakra explosion, letting your yoga dance with Megha-Nancy Buttenheim.

Once again Maryse Thuot and her creative team performers will entice us with a Saturday night show of a communal event dedicated to share our life potential with each other through the art of music, dance, storytelling and more. This event is open to the public and children are free of charge to participate in our celebration of Giving back to Earth.

Our Market Place will have more than 15 vendors offering many different products from clothing to jewellery to yoga props and much more. The Market is open to the community. You can fill out a ballot to win one of six pieces of jewellery from The Vault and Satya.

Invigorating and encouraging luncheon addresses will ask us to look at how we as individuals and community can participate in Giving Back to Earth. Ask ‘What is my power?’ ‘How can we empower ourselves(manipura) to take action in Giving Back to Earth?

In the Public Event section on the Yoga Atlantic Conference website you can see what some of our members are doing to support this giving. These events do not have to happen before the conference. Giving Back to Earth is all year, always. As long as the intention is present then the action is to be noted. Add your event by sending your information to Tracy Cipryk tcipryk [at] accesswave [dot] ca. Most important, a million thanks to all our volunteers who have already assisted in many ways and will during the weekend, to ensure all of you joining us this year will feel welcome and comfortable.
