AYTT 200 is a yoga teacher training in the Kripalu tradition. In the true spirit of yoga, this training places an equal emphasis on the development of body, mind, heart and spirit.
The training is conducted in a supportive, experientially based environment. Participants graduate with the confidence, skills and compassion necessary to safely teach yoga. Conducting classes for a wide variety of ages, abilities and situations, grads effectively spread the ancient practice of yoga throughout the region.

AYTT is a well recognized, well established program and has certified 165 yoga teachers from NS, NB, PEI, NL, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba since 2000. Group sizes are limited to between 12-16 participants and with at least two facilitators.

The main facilitators are Jody Myers BPE, KYT500 and Silver Frith BSC, KYT500. Both bring a holistic perspective, each with over 30 years experience as yoga teachers, practitioners, pioneers and leaders in the Atlantic region. Each facilitator has studied extensively with a range of recognized yoga masters and experts in the yoga field as well as the origional founders of Kripalu Yoga.

The TAYS yoga teacher training (YTT) is a 200/500 hour program designed to certify students who are interested in teaching a hatha vinyasa style of yoga, as required by Yoga Alliance. Students can complete a basic 200 hour training course, with the option to build on these basic fundamentals to complete a 500 hour certification. Most yoga studios and most fitness facilities require yoga teachers to have a basic 200 hour training from a registered yoga school. With the popularity of yoga in the west, and the number of teachers in training, industry standards have increased. The TAYS YTT has grown and changed to meet these needs and continues to offer exceptional training programs beyond the 200 hour level.
The TAYS 500 hour program consists of two modules. The first module is 200 hours and the second module is an additional 300 hours.
