100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training

In establishing the first 100 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Program in Canada, it is my intention to offer extensive training in YIN Yoga as influenced by Master Paulie Zink, as well as my primary teacher, Paul Grilley.  Here, you will come to udnerstand the full capacity of the anatomical variation of your students and yoursleves, and how in-depth knowledge of both Yin and Yang Yoga offers a complete, and balanced practice. We are a Registered Yoga School at the 200 hour level, and your 100 hour Yin Yoga TT will be recognized as continuing education credit, and can also be applied to further modules of the 500 hour SYTT programs, scheduled to begin 2012!

After being repeatedly asked to create a thorough and complete Yin Yoga training program, and noticing the growing demand for Yin Yoga, and lack of qualified instructors, it became clear to me that this type of extensive training is needed.   Yin Yoga is a vastly growing, powerful practice, and although many teachers want to deepen their knowledge of Yin Yoga, it is not always easily accessible nor affordable to do so.  It is my mission to offer an affordable, extensive training for Canadians, and in particular, Atlantic Canadians. 

The first 100 hour trainings were held in March and June 2011, and they were a huge success.  Participants felt they walked away with a much greater understanding of human anatomy, and how to apply that knowledge to not only the practice of Yin Yoga, but all styles.  They also expressed an appreciation for the program in terms of understanding what Yin Yoga truly is, both as a practice and a philosophy.  If you would like to speak with one of our graduates, please let us know, and we can put you in touch.  Participants came from all over New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario.

Minimum of 10 participants required, maximum of 20.  Where this is the first of three modules for the SYTT 500 Advanced Study Program, this is expected to fill quickly.  Please apply with your deposit as soon as possible to reserve your space!

Applicants to this program must be currently accredited Yoga Teachers at a minimum of a 200 hour level.  This is not for those looking to become a Yoga teacher.  (If this applies to you, please see the SATORI Yoga Teacher Training 300 hour program; the Yin & Yang of Modern Yoga).
